Message from Maggie:

I prepared and stamped my Christmas card’s before Summer’s arrival to hedge in case she came early.  I used the same method I have been using for the past four years, but after receiving questions about how-to from my sweet friend Erin, I thought it might be worth reposting and showing you our 2017 edition.  If you haven’t sent your holiday cards out yet here is an easy formula for you to consider.

  1. Create a Canva account on canva.com.
  2. Begin creating a design by clicking the postcard or card icon depending on the style of card you prefer.
  3. Using the layouts on the left choose the one that suits your needs.
  4. Make edits to personalize the holiday card with a funny message and pretty photo.  (Note: I used “The more the merrier” since I was pregnant at the time).
  5. Click download and save as a high quality image.
  6. Print at a local print shop or  online through Catprint.com.
  7. Purchase envelopes.
  8. Make your mailing labels using the same fonts as your card and print or use a custom self inking stamp.
  9. When you are ready to send, place labels or stamp envelopes and then customize envelope with a christmas stamp and seal with washi tape .
