My best friend Lindsey’s birthday was this week.  Last time I visited her in Cincinnati we took a walk with her miniature poodle, Skipper, to the city’s riverfront where I snapped this photograph.  I knew I wanted to do something special with it and came up with this custom stationery idea, building off my previous post on custom thank you cards.

Instructions:

1. Create a Canva account on canva.com.
2. Begin creating a design by clicking the card icon.
3. Using the layouts on the left choose the one that suits your needs.
4. Make edits to personalize the stationary with a message such as “A note from Lindsey Lewis” and pretty photo.
5. Click download and save as a high quality image.
6. Print at a local print shop or online through Catprint.com.
7. Purchase envelopes.
8. When you are ready to send, place in a pretty box and wrap with ribbon.

• This custom gift cost around $20 dollars for 24 cards and envelopes
