Message from Maggie:

We celebrated our itty bitty’s first Halloween with not one but two costumes. Sounds excessive, huh?  We decided she’d be a chef months ago, but when she got invited to a Halloween party with her buddy Grady we decided group costume was in order.  We’ve enjoyed autumn with a visit to a pumpkin patch, celebrated at Capitol Hill-o-Ween, and hosted a Spooky Halloween Party of our own.  Check out the trailer we sent out to party go-ers featuring the upgraded costumes.

Chef Costume:

  • I bought this one from Amazon.
  • I upgraded it with this personalized patch with her name on it from Etsy.
  • I added this tattoo sleeve to take it up a notch.

Old Lady Costume:

  • I used Summer’s own clothes and made a DIY cotton ball wig using one of her hats and glued cotton balls to it.
  • I paired it with a scarf, old pin, and pearls from my jewelry box.
  • I upgraded it by partnering her with her friend Grady who’s mom had access to the little walker from her role as an occupational therapist.
