Message from Maggie:

Nutrition experts claim dark chocolate is a powerful source of antioxidants giving people everywhere the license to enjoy it in moderation.  Given I work with a group of dietitians, I created a dark chocolate version of my Christmas Lights Chocolate Bark for them.  I think the white chocolate was more beautiful, but this version was more delicious.   Try both!

Ingredients:

  • Dark chocolate
  • Almond M+Ms
  • Mini M+Ms
  • Green cookie icing

Instructions:

  1. Pull out all the green mini M+Ms and set aside.
  2. Arrange almond M+Ms in a color pattern you desire (this will make placing them in the hot white chocolate easier)
  3. Melt dark chocolate and spread onto baking sheet.
  4. Before dark chocolate dries add almond M+Ms and mini M+Ms to create a christmas lights.
  5. Once dark chocolate dries use green cookie icing to create the string connecting the christmas lights.
  6. Break bark into pieces.
