Message from Maggie:

My parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.  My entire family got together to celebrate them at a resort in Virginia.  I made these welcome boxes, which everyone found in their rooms upon arrival.

Materials:

  • Canva account
  • Bakery boxes
  • Stickers
  • Nuts
  • Popcorn
  • Apples
  • Mints
  • Koozie
  • Water
  • Doritos

Instructions:

  1. Create a Canva account on canva.com.
  2. Begin creating a logo- this can be used throughout the weekend on all materials.
  3. Once you have a logo, begin designing a welcome bag flyer by clicking the document icon.
  4. Using the layouts on the left choose the one that suits your needs.
  5. Make edits to personalize the document including photos and the previously designed logo.
  6. Click download and save as a high quality image.
  7. Print at a local print shop or online through Catprint.com.
  8. Print itinerary or any other important documents.
  9. Order bakery boxes (I found mine on amazon).
  10. Order koozies with logo on them (I use totallypromotional.com).
  11. Order stickers with logos on them (I used vistaprint.com).
  12. Fold together bakery boxes, place stickers on top, and fold document just so in order to peek through bakery box windows.
  13. Put koozie on water bottles.
  14. Place all edible items inside.

We loved these and all the clever printed matter. Cake boxes were perfect size for goodies. Good idea for brides out there. Thank you Magpie! 😇
